The wildlife sanctuaries of India are perfect home to 2000 different type of birds, 3500 species of mammals, nearly 30000 different kinds of insects and more than 15000 varieties of plant. Some of its wildlife attractions include several endangered and rarest of mammals such as Royal Bengal tiger, Asiatic lions, one-horned rhinoceros and many more.
There are several sanctuaries in India which are known for particular species of birds or animal such as Periyar wildlife sanctuary is notable for Elephant, Sasangir for Asiatic Lions, National parks of India for Royal Bengal tigers, Kaziranga for one-horned rhinoceros. It seems so fascinating to see tigers hunting or sleeping in the shade in their natural habitat.
