Day 01/ Chennai
Arrive Chennai, meet assist and transfer to hotel.
In the afternoon sightseeing tour of the city. Night
stay in Chennai.

02/ Chennai - Kanchipuram - Mamallapuram
Morning excursion to Kanchipuram. Proceed to Mamallapuram.
Kanchipuram (64 kms from Chennai) is the ancient
capital of the Pallavas famous as a city of 1000
Temples and still has 124 shrines. The first temple
dedicated to Shiva was built in the 7th and 8th
century and has paintings on the walls. Temples
of Ekambaswara, Kailasanatha, Sri Kamakshi and Varadarajaswamy
are of interest. Kanchipuram is also famous for
its silks. The city of Mahabalipuram is famous for
the seven pagodas. Here on the seashore is an interesting
group of ancient rock hewn temples which are the
examples of Dravidian style of Architecture.
On arrival transfer to hotel. Visit the Shore Temples
and Arjuna’s Penance, the world’s biggest
bas relief. Night stay in Mamallapuram.

03/ Mamallapuram - Pondicherry
Morning leave for Pondicherry by road. On arrival
transfer to hotel. Sightseeing of Pondicherry. Night
stay in Pondicherry.

04/ Pondicherry - Trichy
Morning leave for Trichy by road visiting en-route
Chidambaram, Kumbakonam and Gangaikondacholapuram.
On arrival transfer to hotel. Night stay in Trichy.

05/ Trichy - Thanjavur - Trichy
Morning excursion to Thanjavur. Afternoon sightseeing
of city visiting Srirangam and Jambukeshwara temple.
Night stay in Trichy.

06/ Trichy - Madurai
Leave for Madurai by road. On arrival check-in at
the hotel. . In the evening visit the Meenakshi
temple dedicated to the consort of Lord Shiva. Later,
visit the Tirumala Nayak Palace - A gracious building
in the Indo saracenic style, famous for the Stucco
work on its domes & arches. Also visit the Alagar
Hills and Tirupara Kundran Rock temple. Night stay
in Madurai.

07/ Madurai - Rameshwaram - Madurai
Morning excursion to Rameshwaram. Arrive & transfer
to hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Night stay
in Madurai.

08/ Madurai - Coimbatore
Morning after breakfast drive to Combatore. On arrival
transfer to hotel. Night stay in Coimbatore.

09/ Coimbatore - Ooty
Morning after breakfast drive to Ooty. On arrival
transfer to hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Night
stay in Ooty.

10/ Ooty - Nagarhole
Morning after breakfast drive to Nagarhole. On arrival
transfer to Kabini river lodge. Rest of the day
at leisure. Night stay in lodge.

In the morning go on a Coracle Ride on Kabini river.
The Coracle is a round native boat. In the afternoon
go on a wildlife tour in the National park in jeeps
/ vans. Night stay at the lodge.

Morning after breakfast drive to Mysore. On arrival
transfer to hotel. Afternoon sightseeing of Mysore
visiting Mysore palace and Chamundi hill. Night

airport to connect flight for Chennai. Transfer
to the international airport on arrival to connect
flight for onward journey.
