Day 01 / Delhi
Arrive Delhi. Meet assist at the airport and transfer
to hotel. Combined city tour of Old and New Delhi. The
vistas of eight historical capital cities, spanning
nearly 4000 years, provide a befitting commencement.

Day 02 / Delhi

Kathmandu
Transfer
to the airport to board flight to Kathmandu, the beautiful
capital city of Nepal, which is about 25 km in length
and 15 km in width. The beautiful snow-clad Himalayan
mountain range, apart from the peak of Mount Everest,
can be viewed from the Kathmandu valley as tourists
fly over it. Transfer to hotel. Later proceed for daylong
sightseeing tour . There are many marvellous places
in Kathmandu, including several places of worship. The
Temple of Sweta Machchhendra Nath is a beautiful pagoda
of artistic beauty. It has a two-tiered bronze roof
and several votive stupas. The Temple of Kumari is the
residence of Kumari, a Vestal Virgin worshipped as a
Living Goddess. The young girl selected as Goddess Kumari,
at the age of about four or five, should be a virgin
and belong to the Newari Shakya caste – a Buddhist
clan. As the girl reaches puberty, another Goddess is
chosen. The temple has carved wooden balconies and window-screens.
Only Hindus are allowed inside the temple. The Balaju
Water Garden is 5 kilometres away from Kathmandu and
located at the foot of the Nagarjuna Hill. It houses
a beautiful park, called the Balaju Uddayan (park).
The place has a beautiful fountain with 22 crocodile-headed
water sprouts, dating back to the 18th century. The
Pashupatinath Temple lies on the banks of the sacred
Bhagmati River. The temple is renowned for its remarkable
architecture with two-tiered golden roof and silver

Day
03 / Kathmandu
- Patan - Kathmandu
Full day excursion to Patan. The city of Patan lies
to the south of Kathmandu and is situated on the sacred
Bagmati River. It is believed to be a city covered with
a thousand golden roofs. The city is locally referred
to as Lalitpur and is famous for its art and crafts.
Keep the afternoon free after your return to Kathmandu.
Days
04 & 05/ Chitwan
A 41/2 hour drive by road reaches you to Chitwan, the
most ancient royal reserve of Nepal, having thousands
of rhinoceros, 300 bird species, tigers and leopards.
Overnight stay and breakfast the following day at a
jungle lodge. Encounter wildlife on elephant back. At
sundown, tribal folk will regale you with song and dance.

Days
06 & 07/ Pokhara
Morning
drive to Pokhara, 6 hours away. Arrive and transfer
to hotel. Spend the afternoon trekking to Naudanda,
a typical village. Pokhara is situated at an altitude
of 827m from the sea level and 200km west of Kathmandu
valley, the city is known as a center of adventure.
The serenity of lakes and the magnificence of the Himalayas
rising behind them create an ambience of peace and magic.

Pokhara
- Dhulikhel
Close to the Indo-China border, the village of Dhulikhel
offers a breathtaking view of the Himalayas and the
farmed valley of Punchkhal. Sunset and sunrise are simply
transcendental here. Night stay in Pokhara.

09/ Pokhara
- Kathmandu -
Delhi
Daylong excursion by road, via the temples and palaces
of Bhadgaon and a gigantic stupa at Bodhnath completes
the Nepal experience. Transfer to hotel. Afternoon flight
to Delhi. Meet assist at the airport and transfer to
hotel. Night stay in Delhi.
