| Coonoor and Yercaud Situated 1,858 meters above the sea level, Coonoor is
a hill station 13 km from Ooty. At a lower altitude
than Ooty, it commands its own brand of loyalist, who
prefer to holiday in the mild climate of this charming,
more homely colder, bustling city of Udaghamandalam.
Sim's park in Coonoor is
a botanical garden with well-laid out terraces of rare
flowers and shrubs, providing scholars ample scope for
study. The nearest airport is Coimbatore .Mettupalayam
is the common mainline railhead for Ooty as well as
Coonoor. Lamb's Rock, Lady Canning's
Seat, and Dolphin's Nose

Yercaud is a quiet hill resort in the Servaroyar
hills. the mild climate combined with breathtaking
views makes Yercaud a must for tourists. The nearest
airport is at Tiruchirapalli. Salem 26 km away is served
by a number of main line trains.
A prominent feature of Yercaud is its
lake.

point overlooking the winding Ghat road. Atop Servaroyam
Hill the third highest in this region is the
Servaroyam temple a cave
